What a let property needs beyond a working unit

If you let a property to holidaymakers in the Valencian Community, it is registered as tourist accommodation and has to meet the conditions that registration requires. Air conditioning is frequently one of them: registration schemes here generally expect cooling in the habitable rooms, and an inspection can ask about it.

That has two practical consequences. The first is that "working" is not enough — the installation needs to be documented, because what an inspection or a change of registration asks for is evidence rather than a demonstration.
