Most electrical work starts with the same two questions: what is actually behind the board, and can the supply carry what you want to add? We answer those first, with measurements rather than assumptions, and then give you one written figure.

What we check before quoting electrical work
We check the supply at the meter, the state of the consumer unit and its protection, the earthing, and the route any new cable has to take. Those four decide almost every price, and none of them can be assessed from a description alone.
A photo of the board, the meter cabinet or the fault helps us arrive with the right questions and the right parts. The final figure comes after we have seen the installation, and it does not move once agreed unless you change the job.

Planned work such as EV chargers, air conditioning and solar is quoted free, as one written figure with no provisional items.
Nothing extra without your yes
Beyond the agreed visit, nothing chargeable is done until you have approved it.

Common questions
Do you do small electrical jobs?
Yes. New sockets and circuits, lighting, faults and repairs are part of the work, alongside the larger installations. Tell us what you need and we will say whether it is a visit or a quick fix.
Can you find an intermittent fault?
Usually, by testing circuit by circuit rather than guessing. Intermittent tripping is often a single appliance or a damp connection outdoors, and finding it is cheaper than replacing parts until it stops.
Do I need a new consumer unit?
Not always. Sometimes the board is fine and one circuit is the problem; sometimes the board is fine but the wiring behind it is not. We test before recommending, and price the options side by side.
